Voting process for ward and precinct elections

[8 March 2021]

Dear Democrats:

The official date of the Precinct and Ward elections is Saturday, March 13, 2021.
Over 600 electors will cast their ballots. You will receive: 1) the PRECINCT ballot to vote for your choice of Precinct Officers and Members; and 2) the WARD ballot to vote for your choice of Ward Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary.

For security purposes, each elector will receive an individual PIN NUMBER WITH THEIR BALLOTS. Ballots will be sent by email no later than 8:30 a.m., Saturday, March 13, 2021. (Note: that’s 8:30 a.m. The earlier version of this page, and the email sent to electors, had a typo making it 8:30 p.m.) An elector may call in their vote (specified dates and timeframes listed below for voting by email or by phone).

You must enter your individual PIN NUMBER on the ballot when prompted in order for your vote to be certified.

In order to accommodate all electors, the DPRAC has established the following dates and timeframes to cast your ballots:

  • Voting period opens at 9:00 am, Saturday, March 13, 2021
  • Voting period closes at 9:00 pm, Monday, March 15, 2021

You may wish to cast your ballot by telephone and may do so by contacting an Election Administrator at the following telephone numbers and specified times:
